A versatile hand-held stripping tool used for removing the outer jacket of most types of optical cables. The tool comprises two blades, one for a longitudinal cut over the desired length of cable jacket and the other to make a circular cut around the cable circumference.
Both blades are adjustable to give optimum cutting depth thus avoiding damage to the cable core or fibers. Both blades are replaceable. Designed for loose tube cable constructions and for removing the outer jacket of multi-sub-element cable.
